This DOOM 3 movie, which debuted on G4TechTV (and put on Fileshack on July 23rd, 2004, while Doom 3 was released August 2004 in America), offers a whole bunch of gameplay footage and interviews with the people at id Software about development of the game.

Interviewees (in order of appearance) include John Carmack (Co-Owner/Technical Director), Tim Willits (Co-Owner/Lead Designer), Todd Hollenshead (Co-Owner/CEO), Kevin Cloud (Co-Owner/Artist), Steven L. Kent (Author of "The Making of Doom 3"), Jim Black (Develop Relations Account Manager), Robert A. Duffy (Lead Programmer) and Dan Morris (Editor-in-Chief, PC Gamer).

The how and why Doom 3 was put into production after Quake 3 in 2001, and some thoughts on the franchise and original Doom games.

Part 2 - 5:52

Technological and gameplay information on Doom 3, as well as information on the Doom 3 story. Then on what parts were taken from the original Doom (enemies, weapons), and what enemies/weapons are new.

Doom 3 is taken to E3 2002, and reception to it.

Part 3 - 5:18

The E3 Doom 3 alpha gets leaked, with some reflection on it. Then moving onto audio of the game, and the Xbox version is mentioned, and how it influenced the design. Then how it is wrapping up, and what the future might be.
